| Spiritual ConneXtions Awards 2008 |

Are proud to say: whilst it was a voyage of discovery and we did learn a lot, we emerged at the end of 2007 even more convinced that the show simply must go on! 'I'm sure you will agree that for decades we have witnessed a variety of professions honoured on a national and international scale. Why is it that actors, musicians, film stars and models receive such fine accolades, while those dedicating themselves to spiritual, holistic, and those involved in the field of paranormal research work remain peculiarly unrecognised - even those who have progressed to theatre andtelevision and become household names?'.
This summer we celebrate Spiritual ConneXtions’ third Birthday and have decided to set about organising the largest spiritual, holistic and paranormal award ceremony in the UK.
Much hard work has already been invested in this three-day prestigious ceremony with well-established “names” in the spiritual (such as Tony Stockwell), holistic and paranormal spheres attending.
Our event will be held at the historic Portsmouth Guildhall on 5th, 6th and 7th September 2008 - kicking of with the Friday night evening meal, followed by the main award ceremony and the after-show party.
Saturday 6th September will be a holistic fayre (from 9am until 6pm) with over 60 stalls, many well known celebrities will be offering workshops, talks and will be given demonstrations of mediumship (this includes open platform).
Sunday 7th September we have yet another holistic fayre (from 10am until 3pm), but in the evening we have arranged some of the countries top mediums to demonstrate their mediumistic skills (from 7pm until 10:30pm); the feeling is this year we will exceed all anticipations of our last event.
For more information on our award ceremony including voting/nominations, booking stalls etc, please visit
Spiritual Connextions Awards 2008
If you're a medium and wish to take part in our open platform to win a spot for the Sunday 7th September special mediumship night, then please download the application form from http://www.spiritualconnextions.com/portsmouth(under the holistic Fayre area).

| Paranormal Investigation of Madeley Court Telford with Phil Whyman |
Join Phil Whyman on an overnight investigation of Madley Court Telford on Sunday 23rd March 2008. Only 25 place available!
MADELEY COURT HOTEL - Telford - Medieval Manor House -
**Pleas note: this event takes place on the SUNDAY NIGHT of a Bank Holiday weekend**
The main building of the Madeley Court Hotel & Mill in Telford is a Grade II listed property that is set within atmospheric lakeside surroundings, and dates back approximately 800 years to the 13th Century - the separate Mill building dating to 14th Century. Many of the original features are present to this day, the building having been restored to its former glory some years ago after the building fell into a ruinous state.
This is a FIRST TIME investigation by Dead Haunted!
Madeley Court has had a long history of paranormal activity, and countless guests and staff have frequently had unexplainable experiences. Hauntings at Madeley Court include:
THE MONK Perhaps the most noted spectral inhabitant still wandering Madeley Court is that of the lonely and sad looking monk, who glides majestically throughout the property and grounds.
HAUNTED BEDROOMS There is one particular bedroom which seems to have more activity than that of the others. One guest spending the night in this room was so frightened by events that he fled to the reception area...and slept there for the remainder of the night!
GHOSTLY MAIDS There have been numerous reported incidents of spectral maids dressed in Victorian garb going about their business. These have been seen on the original timber staircase and on the upper floor of the property. So life like are these figures that guests have mistaken them for costume actors. Also from this area come reports of dark shadows, lurking around the corridors.
THE MILL BUILDING Guests and staff have repeatedly heard the sound of disembodied laughter coming from within this building, while furniture is also known to move forcefully of its own volition. From the bar area staff have witnessed a male form, who heads towards the gents facilities...but never returns. Upon inspection the room is empty. Noises have also been heard here and on occasion physical activity has been experienced.
OLD WOMAN An old woman has been seen close to the entrance of Madeley Court. She often smiles at passers by...before disappearing.
Join Phil Whyman and the DHN team as together we investigate this fascinating building. During the investigation you will get the chance to take part in group vigils and use some of the equipment found on paranormal investrigations. You will also be briefed as to its usage. There will also be experiments for you to try your hand at, should you wish.
Tea, coffee and snacks will also be provided.
LOCATION: MADELEY COURT HOTEL - Telford DATE: SUNDAY, 23RD MARCH 2008 (This is a SUNDAY NIGHT event, but MONDAY is a BANK HOLIDAY!) START TIME: 9.00PM FINISH TIME: 4AM
TICKET PRICE IS ONLY £60.00
Phil Whyman's Verdict 'Madeley Court Hotel is one of those buildings with a very solid local reputation as being haunted - and with hundreds of years of there being a building on this site, it is probably no wonder! Only a couple of investigation teams have done the Madeley Court Hotel, but with interesting results, and we hope to add to the list of experiences too.'
